Thanks, again Cove. Alk went from way high (13.4) two and a half weeks ago to 7.7 tonight. I need to get the new DIY Kalk reactor to quit leaking so I can drip kalk into the sump rather than on the basement floor...that should balance this out a bit.

Those darn MJ fittings... I wonder if savko could make a custom bushing for them or has a bushing that would have a tighter fit.

I guess I got lucky, I gooped that junk on and it sealed for me.

I actually have the MJ fitting sealed up now, but the JG bulkhead is leaking...I am going to the depot or lowes this afternoon and see if I can find a rubber washer to fit the bulkhead.

Is the fitting you are calling a bulkhead, just JG on one side and pipe thread on the other? If so put at least 4-5 wraps of teflon tape on it. Thats what i usually do and have had no leaks.

Mark, it is a bulkhead fitting from Savko. I bought a bunch of them for TJ and me and they didn't have the rubber seals.
