My Yellow Deep Sea Gorgonian

I've had it for about a week so far and its doing great! I target feed it several times a day with copeez and baby brine shrimp eggs and its pretty much open 24/7. I got it from a local reefer. I know, some of the ends have dead parts. It was like that when I got it. Just thought Id share.

Tell me what you think!

Food comes with it's own flavor. Anything that has to steal flavor from other food just so it can have flavor is not a food. That is a napkin.

Current Tank Info: 75 gallon Custom made SPS dominated tank.

What red algae? I don't see any algae.

If die off will progress, you may frag it. Only check, that central part will be healthy. Otherwise die-off may continue, when core is affected.

Good luck!

It only looks skinny, but give it a time and it should start to grow. Red morph is more robust, but slower in branch growth.

Nice wrasse!

I don't see any parts dieing off. I'll keep a close eye on it. Thanks for the help/info!

Sorry, it seemed to me, that on the photo parts, not covered by yellow soft tissue, are bare skeleton. For red morphs die off continues, unless they are fragged.

No ill intent meant.

You said in your post that some of the ends have dead parts but that is how you received it. Polyp extension is really good though.
