Off topic but I unsubscribed to the old thread and subscribed to this one. When I get a notification that there has been a new post, the link sends me to the end of the old thread. How do I get it to send me to the most recent post in the new thread? Thanks.

I thought all you had to do was unsubcribe and then post in the new one.

vertex info

Need some dimensional info on the IN250.How high is it from the bottom of the skimmer to the bottom of the T on the discharge? I'm trying to figure a way to discharge skimmed water directly back in the main tank. Jeremy gave me lph on the gen2 250 which Iconverted to scfh, 36.72. Pretty impressive for a pinwheel.

That is really odd . I have a skimmer that has that same type of air intake . I couldn't stand the noise . It creates an echo and resonates .I would dial in to raise the water level . It would make the air intake louder .
BTW I sold my first Gen Vertex . I went through 1 full pump replacement and 3 impellers since late Nov . I still am glad everyone is happy with theirs . I had the IN-100 .
I sure am happy with what I have now .

The conversion I've seen is that 1000 lph = 35.3 scfh.

I haven't heard much, but I don't understand how they can call it a Vertex when it is manufactured by Bubble King and uses a Red Dragon pump.... It's also not priced like a Vertex at $999 after a $200 off pre order incentive. Check out Premium Aquatics, they have them up on their website.

Yes, The Alpha cone is being brought to us by proline. Proline is the distributer of Bubble king. Most dont know that Vertex is also proline. So when they wanted a cone they wanted to have one that would beat all the competition. So who better to make this skimmer than bubble king. Who they already have good relations with. So This is how I have been told it all worked out. if this helps at all.
