Let me start and say I am sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in;

Im trying to possible connect with some more local reefers/Saltwater People forums are great but sometimes theres a more time sensitive matter that needs to be addressed also to share information on clubs / LFS stories advice Etc..

Sounds like you're a tweener. Albany or Boston? They both have reef clubs. I've seen some really nice LFSs in Rhode Island as well.

Check the reef club forums on the forum jump drop down. Then click around to look for members in your area. You might find you're not so alone.

go over to aqua dreams in feeding hills and start talking to people. i looked for clubs in the area when i used to live just outside springfield and i couldn't find one in the immediate area. talk to the folks in local stores and see about starting one up.

Been out to aqua-dreams, sorry to say not impressed there nice livestock but at least when I was there not very helpful.

I have checked out bostonreefers actually looking forward to taking the family to a meeting next week there

Havent heard of the other, Going to take a look around there site today

Bosotn Reefers all the way. If your looking for a good LFS in West Hartford Puppy center and Aquarium. Joe has a great place there.

My family and I will actually be attaining our first meeting, this sunday with boston reefers.. Been reading some good things about the puppy center might have to take a ride down there this week

huh, that sucks. i had several good conversations with folks there, but that was a couple years ago so maybe the same people aren't there. james tropical in i.o. is another spot that was turning more toward the sw side last i knew. i did a lot of business with them for my fw setups.

Connecticut has a nice club. They have a forum here at RC

Could have just been when I was there, There was an older man behind the counter talking with another customer and then a kid (be lucky if he was in his 20s) that seemed to follow me around the store but he didnt know much. They did have some nice corals and fish

i'll have to check out james tropical and see whats out there.

I am looking at checking out a meeting with them as well, but Im sorry i have no problem paying for the membership its a low cost and all but I do this with my family (wife and 4 kids) not paying 10 dollars a head to go to a meeting to check them out and besides that I am not taking my kids to the casino
