Where to get Large tanks in Iowa
I was wondering where everyone got there Large tanks from the Iowa/ midwest area?
How was shipping? I was thinking glass, because im under the impresion that acrilic tanks scratch easier than glass. Im thinking 96 x 36 x 24 i also hate euro brace holes, on large tanks. Can you have tank that size rimless? I know of peps getting tanks from glass cages but thats the only site/ company i know of.

I just ordered one from tropicalfishstore dot com out of Michigan. I couldn't find anyone on the net that could touch the price before shipping, and they through that in free....

It will be a while im yet to close on a new house and will need to get settled. Basement is totally unfinished 1000sqF so I have a lot to work with. I plan to buy a 75 -100g or so that will be used as a refugium on Big guy sometime. And use it for FOWLR for a while, get used to feeding/ keeping larger fish.

I'll start a whole new build thread and all... as soon as it gets here, figure out how the heck to lift it on to the stand.

I see you live in Washington State (from you post info), so if you are going to start a new thread elsewhere in the forums could you please post a link here. I think everyone is always on the lookout for a sound source for tanks builds and deliveries. I know I am! Thanks again. |

I didn't even notice that I was in a state specific forum until now... sorry about that.
I'll try and check back... tank delivery is still about 4 weeks out (custom build), but hopefully my soon to be dedicated fish room will be done this weekend, and I can have everything in the 300 gallon sump by monday.
