Talking 1500 Gallon Mammoth Lagoon Rays/Sharks/Eels/Tangs/Angels/Barracuda

The *NEW* 1500 Gallon Lagoon is full of RO/DI Water! Ready for the salt that is coming in on Monday. The Lagoon is actually 1200 Gallons with a 300 Gallon Sump right next to it that will flow out of 2 -1 1/2 bulkheads and will waterfall down into the 1200 lagoon. The 300 gallon will be full of live rock and a ASM G6 skimmer that is coming in Monday as well. I will get pictures of everything shortly with my camera but now i have 2 taken with my cell phone.

My turtles in the pond hatched some red ear sliders the other day i walked outside to my pond and had a lot of babies just swimming on top of the water. I put them inside in a 10 gallon aquarium. Not sure what I am going to do with them. Here is a picture as well...

125 Gallon In Wall Reef up for 2 years now and Mangroves grown 2 feet in 1 year!!!

My Friend who is a great photographer took some pictures of my 58 gallon reef if anyone wants to check it out here is the link:

Asm G6 Skimmer

New pictures from today, The Lagoon is full of salt and ready. Got skimmer in and just breaking it in! It will go in the 300 lagoon full of live rock which is going to be my filtration. There is just water and salt in pool lagoon and the skimmer is pulling every little thing out of the water. I LOVE IT!!!!

Looks great! Can't wait to see the end result. How many baby red ear sliders do you have? I bet they are cute. Sell them on craigslist, they are expensive in the stores.

I guess it will be your car that will be parked out on the curb at night, rain, and snow. But I am sure in the end, it will all be worth it!

In that case, the car out on the curb will make an excellent bed at night should your wife get mad at you with all the money your spending on this project.(Ha Ha) Better yet, you could just put a large plastic cover over the lagoon and make it a waterbed.

Looking good guys. Is there going to be sand in there?

Kind of looks like Steffen should think next time he stands in 1200 gallons of saltwater and grabs onto that chop saw. Please tell me that saw is battery powered.
