Which SPS would you get?
I am getting a new SPS on Tuesday and the choices I have are between a Joe the Coral or an ORA Red Plant. Which would you get? Or, which coral do you believe would be the most marketable for fragging in the future as well as be a nice display piece in my tank?

easy choice. i love the pearlberries, but if you can keep the green, the red planet is hard to beat.

I thought I'd be crazy about the red planet but after getting it I like my pearlberry MUCH better and joe and roscoe must be brothers because they look very simular to me. I like my roscoe's blue (and therefore joe the coral) better than the red planet as well.

I vote for Joe the coral! The one I have grows great and has amazing blue-tip with green base coloration.

Red Planet gets my vote. My Red Planet is by far the fastest growing coral in my tank and it looks good.

a pearlberry is a must...I keep my red planet down low and it really keeps a nice deep green base, but doesn't grow as fast as others who keep theirs higher. but then again they lose all the green. I'd prefer slower growth with green, then a pink with fast growth.

I have a pearlberry already and love the color on it! MY LFS has a few Joe the Corals and a few Red Planets available for 69 ea. So recently I sold a bunch of frags to get a new coral. Playing with the casino's money so to speak. I believe that I was leaning toward the Planet before this thread and now it is a definite. Thanks for all of the kind advise!

I have both and love both. Awesome colors on each, but I would say the Red Planet grows faster and therefore more potential for your purpose.
