250g SPS Tank from Beijing

Hi,

This is my third reef tank, it has run for one years, but it takes me about six month to deal with the problem of hair algae(Bryopsis) from previous tank, after long time fighting and I almost restart the whole system, everything have go back to the normal track. Fortunately I have not lost many old SPS coral in this process, so I could rebuild this tank with many mature corals from old tank.

The right side of the tank, almost all the coral is come from old tank, some of them is over four years in my tanks.

On the left side it is mixed with old corals and new corals.

The lighting of the tank is 3 x 400W XM 10000K only, but now I am planning add some VHO and LED as the blue light supplement.

Thanks everyone:-)

As for color, personally I like the result of mixed XM 10000K and Reeflux 12000K, but here is no room for additional MH bulbs, and I like XM 10000K very much for its highly PAR output, now I am working on a new DIY fixture with super actinic VHO and blue LED.

Jeffrey NY£ºYes, sure. Welcome to China :-)

drawman£º No, I am not using zeovit method, but I do add some additives from KZ such as AAHC and CV.

Thanks for sharing. Those colors look AMAZING!!! I'm really shocked to hear that you're not using Zeovit. Again, colors look awesome.

Beautiful reef tank! And I echo everyone else's thoughts about getting great colors with 10K bulbs! It'll look amazing with blue/actinic supplements.
