mp20 help

I recently installed a mp20 on my 55gal (24x24x24)
and the koralia 4 that I had, made more movement than the vortex
also I can only generate like half inch of a wave at most

A friend had a mp40w which accidentally went into the tank the wet and the dry side, so it is no longer working do you think I can upgrade my mp20 with its mp40w driver?

Yes, your friends driver and power supply off of the MP40w should by ok despite the pump's accidental dip. You could upgrade using those parts.
