Little Giant
I picked up a little giant pump at this mornings fire sale, does the pump need to be primed? I wanted to use the pump to help with my water changes by pumping the water from my salt water storage to my DT - 15 feet or so.
Thanks

Little Giant makes lots of pumps. Some are submersible and just need to be dropped in the water. The non submersible ones, also the most common ones, do need to be primed. If your not sure of what one you have, post a picture.

Thanks Bill - it is not a submersible pump. I'll have to figure a way to prime it

The easy way is to install a bulkhead fitting in the bottom of the storage tank and plumb the pump into that. Let gravity prime the pump
