On Wednesday morning after seeing 'Delivery Exception' on Fedex online status I contacted Fedex and they assured me it will be delivered by 5pm. By 6:45pm the package still didn't show up and I called again and this time I was able to talk to a rep at the local facility but said the package is not in the building and not sure where it is. This is when I started to get nervous but thank goodness the driver show up at 7:19pm and said they gave it to him at 3pm and he had so many stops. The box was delivered in perfect condition where it's been rough handling the past couple of times by Fedex. They were packed very well with about 6 bags each (I lost count after openning 5) and plenty of water and air on each. Thank you for the beautiful pair and great job with the packing!
Here's the DD post: here's a picture of the pair last night after 24 hours in their new environment I've one question--is this pair from Solomon Islands or Hawaii? Somehow I only saved the picture and not the info page. Thanks! |

flameangel88,
We are happy to see that the Boxfish were received in good condition and are acclimating well. These specimens were collected from the Solomon Islands. Please contact us if you have further questions. You are a valued customer and we look forward to hearing from you in the future. Joyce F. Drs. Foster & Smith LiveAquaria |

Update--
I'm very happy to see the male started to eat PE Mysis this morning and the female took in quite a few of NLS Thera+A last night. |

Update & Question
Update--both are eating pellets now.
Question--does the mouth on both look normal especially the color of the teeth? I don't see any pictures online or in books so I've nothing to compare with and hope you can clarify the health of their mouth. TIA! Taken on 7/16 7/20 7/22 I don't have a good picture of the female but appear the teeth is to be same color as the male. Pictures taken on 7/20 |

flameangel88,
Thank you for updating us on how the acclimation of your new pair of boxfish is going. We are happy to hear that they are both accepting the pellet foods being offered. It sounds like they are happy in their new home. Ostracion meleagris have close set, conical shaped teeth that may vary in color between yellow to brown. We believe that the mouths of your Boxfish are normal. If we can be of further assistance, please contact our LiveAquaria Department at 1-800-334-3699, via email at CustomerService@LiveAquaria.com, or PM us. Gwen S. LiveAquaria Drs. Foster and Smith |
