RIP - Sarge (My Moorish Idol)
I never really thought I would be this upset to lose a fish. I came home today to find my Moorish Idol dead and stuck in my elegance. I have no idea what happened. He was eating well last night and looked good. All other fish, inverts, and corals look fine. I'll test parameters later but I can't really see any of them being far enough off to make a difference.
I had him for about 16 months and he seemed to do well and grow at a steady rate. I don't know if this was a freak accident or another reason not to keep Idols. Either way it sucks. Lee |

Sorry to hear Lee. It sucks to lose a fish and not really know why.

Dangit.....I feel your pain Brother. I just lost 16. None as nice as the Idol you had though.

It does not matter which is nicer than the other, its how you feel about the fish that matters. I have a plain ole foxface that I simply adore for the past 5 years that would devastate me if I came home one day and found him gone like Lee did today with his Idol. What happened to you Mark was horrendous. I don't know how you could stand by and watch that. It would have tore me up.

love Idols
don't you just hate it when a favorite fish dies for no apparent reason? too bad we don't have enough talent here to do an autopsy
