In Christmas Island (Indian Ocean) there were a lot of Acanthurus leucosternon X A. nigricans hybrids. Here is one of those hybrids displaying some mating behaviors with a pure A. nigricans:

Have any pics of regal angels?

Saw a tank full of these yesterday. Had to stop myself buying a few. Only a couple of the larger male ones though.

Luiz, first of all - gorgeous photos! Second, I haven't had time to read through the whole thread yet but I wanted to ask you a question. Are you from Brazil? Your last name rang a bell when I saw it....reminded me of Glauber Rocha the famous Cinema Novo guy from Brazil. Just curious cause my fiancee is Brazilian and I speak Portuguese

Hey Julie, yes, I am from Brazil, and to keep the photos flowing here are two Brazilian endemic fishes:

Haemulon squamipinna

Halichoeres brasiliensis

I'm thinking Channomuraena vittata, Long jawed Moray, AKA Broad Banded moray. I know that Scott Michaels first Reef Fish book has information on it inside.
