Its Real Reef Rock !

So that there is no confusion I'll ask that this be made a sticky.

Our
Key Largo rock
Is Real Reef Rock

We do not and never have made rock

It is a quarried rock, quarried on land from an extinct reef, a reef buried when the Florida land mass was formed (many moons ago )

Some of the advantages you'll get when buying our Key Largo are:

An absolute guaranteed 100% pest free clean start

A great looking rock that stays put and "stacks" like a dream, making those long frustrating hours of aquascaping, reaquascaping and chasing avalanches a thing of the past. Ask anyone that has worked with it, there's something unique about the structure and shapes that make each piece want to "interlock".

A rock that does not contribute to the destruction of marine habitats
(Most all if not all Live and Dry rock on the market today is torn from a living reef....is this what we as hobbyists want to support?)

and to make it even better
You will be spending your money on A Product of the USA

Do you have to add live rock to this to get it started or will it just cycle and progress naturally? Thanks for your time. Mike

You would want to add a small amount of live rock, live sand and/or a bottled bacteria product (I use the Turbo Start 900 by Fritz).

If I were to purchase rock from you, Marco, and put it into an already established tank .. is it safe to do so? Would it kick off a cycle of any sort or no? I will be seeding it with LS in the tank currently, along with a few pieces of rock.

How many lbs would you recommend for a 40gal breeder? Thanks!

bulk order

I'm looking to setup one of my customer's 650 gallon bowfront tank with over 600 lbs of live rock and 200 lbs of live sand. If I place an order from you that's 50% live and 50% dry, what kind of deal can you cut me, and how much for the shipping to 62208? Also, can I request that the pieces all be really extra large to make the aquascaping not look like its made of marbles in this gigantic tank? (its 84"x34"x 48" LWH) thanks.

Info needed - no response at other post

Marco:

I have a 90g that has a tall 2" PVC overflow pipe at one end about 4" from the end of the tank. I'd like to cover most of this pipe and build a large arch as well that is crescent shaped when viewed from the top similar to another post in this thread. If I send you some pics of the tank, can you help me out with the right rock for this? I'd like to avoid the "stacked softball" or "cypress roots" look if at all possible. I need someplace for clams on the bottom as well as swimming area for a few fish and plenty of areas to place corals. Please send me some info. The rock would go to 45449.

Love this dry rock. I started with the 50lbs deal and several months later its all pink purple and green. The aqua-scape I chose to do I wouldn't have been able to do with any other rock. Great products guys.

Marc,
Just ordered 25 pounds from you.... I have to say, I am impressed so far! Exceptional quality and exactly as described. Its amazing how many ways this rock can interlock and create a seamless look when aquascaping. Well packed also! Oh.. and the sand.... I ordered it on a Saturday and got it Monday afternoon via USPS!!???!!??!! Unbelievable! Thanks again for providing a great product, affordable and pest free!

Absolutely love your rock. I have 100lbs of Key Largo in my 210 and planning to add another 100lbs. Any New Years deals going on? (or coupons codes)
