I like T&T Marine and Koi Pond and King Aquarium in San Jose.

Sustainable is only open on weekends; he has a day job. He has lots of corals and some aquacultured fish as well, recommend checking it out on a weekend.

King aquarium in San Jose is good as well. Based on my location, I primarily use sustainable, King, and T&T, all in San Jose.

I didn't like king, customer service was lacking; and the dead fish turned me off ...

Went to sustainable aquatics on on Monday night was very impressed, owner was knowledgeable as they get; very strong contender to Neptune except in store size, hours, and equipment for sale ... also the u-turn and parking was a little tricky the first time
Took some pics so you can get an idea ...

Went to Aqua Exotics in Belmont. Picked up some fish, a couple of snails, etc. Matt was knowledgeable about reefs and systems. His store is in the back area. I really liked the personalized service. I also posted a review on Yelp.

Thanks for that maps earthboy and bondolo! Came in handy yesterday.
for Aquatic Central. Stopped by there to wait out rush hour before I headed back to the valley. I left with a few frags. I'm noobish but i thought he had a good selection and good pricing.

I updated the map this morning to mark Aquatic Central as closed. :-(

Feel free to suggest any other updates.

There's also a new version of the map that allows showing/hiding of closed businesses. (The most requested feature)

Bay Area Marine Aquarium Businesses
