Only A of B?
Are there any issues with only using say the Alk part of a 2part system? My Ca doesn't need adjusting as often as my Alk, so can I just the Alk part of my Kents Liquid additives?

That is OK (but not perfect).
Even with balanced consumption, calcium will "appear" to drop more slowly simply due to how much is present in seawater. But if you use a salt water mix with excessive claicum, so do not need as much calcium part, that is a fine plan.
