No joke. Renovate your basement into that (assuming you have one) and BOOM. Suit up and go SCUBA in your house!

Was it tough to get these shots? It looks like there was a fair amount of light.

The Calif. Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park has a large reef display but they are having serious issues with the corals. From my limited understanding, it has to do with their lack of sufficient lighting.

It was uttlery amazing. It was pretty bright but still I think I was up to ISO 400 or 800 at like F2.8 or F4 or something. I was bracing on the glass and the edges of the walls around the display. I got plently of blurry fish images anyway and the depth of field is for the birds. The zoom was pathetic (because of the shutter speed limitation) and almost all of my attempts at zooming in were junk when trying to get shots from deep back in the tank. It was a 10MP camera though (some Fuji something or other) and I was able to crop some of the images and pull out a few midtank images.

I can't say that I saw too much aggresion in the tank. To be honest though, I wasn't really paying attention. I was pretty enamored with the Anthias and watching them a bunch and then just looking for "angles" and trying to "see" good shots within the tank considering my "gear" (if you can call it that). We eneded up being pressed for time too so if I had it my way I would have planned a lot differently. Surprisingly with some noise reduction software and some color correcting I managed to pull out a few good images. I took about 300 frames overall including the Anemone tanks and a handfull of other tanks.
