Prazipro and Copper...
I remember someone posting that they use Prazipro and copper at the same time......Who was it?
I just got off the phone with Hikari the maker of Prazipro and they advise against mixing any treatments. I wanted to get more information from people already doing it. Thanks |

I just recently finished treating with prazipro in a tank that is treated with copper. My treatment was very successful. I did do a water change about a week after treatment was done.

I spoke to Hikari today the makers of Prazipro and they advised against me mixing treatments. So I am not sure if mixing copper and prazi is a good idea............

I do it all the time with Cupramine. I would not do it with any other copper treatment though.
Introduce the two medications a couple of days apart from each other, not all at once. This gives the fish time to adjust.

I mix Cupramine and Prazipro all the time with no issues whatsoever. Other coppers I have no idea if there is an issue as I don't ever use anything else but Cupramine anymore. |
