New GBTA and clown question.
I just got a green bubble tip, im aclimating him right now, when i let it free should i shut off my pumps so it can attach easier? or should it just be fine?
My clown question is i love black clowns, but when i have friends over they like to see a normal looking clown the false perc. If i were to buy them at the same time would a false perc and a black and white do just fine together? |

I don't think mixing different kinds of clowns is a good idea unless it is a big aquarium.

You can put a black and white false percula in with the traditional false percula.
I don't usually turn off the pumps when placing an anemone. But if you feel more comfortable doing so, go for it. Just DON'T forget to turn them back on. |

They can, but there is no guarantee, just as there is no guarantee with those of the same color. Providing the right environment and food will play a huge role in this.

I've always turned my pumps off for 10 minutes or so. A black and white and a regular ocellaris will pair up just like two regular ocellaris clowns would.

My anems do not seem to have a problem attaching. I hold them in place with the other end of my scraper (plastic handle) and after 30 seconds they attach themselves.
I have two ocel. clowns and one tomato clown. They get along great! |
