Phosphates in water?
After battling a cyano problem for quite some time I invested in a hanna photometer. Just thought I'd test my RODI and I came up with a .04 with a TDS of 0 Is this normal, OK, can it be corrected or should I not bother.
Taz PS it is well water if it makes a difference |

That measurement is within specifications. People have varying measurements from RO/DI water with the device. That's higher than some, though.

I have tested my RO/DI water in my top off reservoir and my Hanna reads .03 and .02
I have never tested my RO/DI straight out of the unit though. I tested Distilled Water out of a gallon jug and it also tested .02/.03 My tank water also test out at .02/.03 and I still have a couple small patches of algae that grows on my Tunze pumps. I have never got a zero reading from the Hanna on anything I have tested.
