yep it makes life alot easier. one day i want be able to do it the mflamb way. pumps and switches in the garage. with water run through pvc to the tank for fresh saltwater, ato water and draining of old saltwater.
and if i can get another apex dc8 i can control all the pumps in the garage and the tank. so i can do a water change sitting on my couch. so all i would have to do is make sure to add the right amount salt and keep the fresh water full. |

I use a Pan World model NH-150PS and it works pretty well. Takes a couple min to get 20 gallons thru but beats the hell out of buckets.

I love mine......Have not used buckets or jugs in years.....Also, it helps to keep the sand looking new as the day I put it in!

this is a noob question: is the water source from whatever you have setup as your RO holding tank?

What do you do as far as mixing the salt in? Is it possible to have the entire water change process automated? from start to finish so you don''t have to do anything? |

besides adding salt and checking salinity, yes it can be all automated.
float valves, switches, and pumps. |
