My Trumpet is dying, could it be of pest attack?

Hi, after looking closer to my LPS/Trumpet with camera and macro lens I noticed some small creatures moving around it, and, small brown spots in the exposed skeleton (where it has receded enough to display it).

Please, would you take a look at the pictures linked below, zoom in to 1:1, and check out the tiny whiteish/transparent creatures and the brownish dots on the skeletons (visible in some pictures) to tell me if this is a pest, what pest it is, and what I can do about it?

Possibly flat worms but it is hard to tell from the pics!

I had one do that, never really figured out the cause. On the plus side, a couple large water changes after the tissue recession it stopped and is in process on regrowing, though the heads are much smaller.

When in doubt, do another water change is starting to become my philosophy!

Looking at some pictures I had taken on March 3rd, but never really paid too much attention to, there was a bunch of those guys piled up between two trumpet heads before they separated:

A closeup view:

Any ideas if this was just a coincidence, or an LPS/Trumpet specific pest?
