elegance withdrawn into skeleton
Hi. I got an elegance coral last Tuesday. I did some research on them, and went ahead and decided to get one. It's an Aussie elegance.
The start was a bit rough on Tuesday, as my pistol shrimp decided to drag the coral to his burrow, but I rescued the coral and it is now propped a little bit above the sand bed. The spot is a tiny bit shaded with low to medium flow. The face of the coral is diagonal to the sand bed. It's eaten twice since I've had it - tentacles seemed quite sticky. Other corals in the tank are doing fine... but the elegance is packed into it's skeleton now. Any ideas?

Im thinking its just stress from moving. Give it some time and it should come out. I know when I got mine it almost took a week before it would expand. And then when it did it wasnt fully. It took almost another week for that to happen. Best of luck with it and enjoy it.
