is this a Rhyzotrochus/Rhyzotypus?
iridescentlilly advised me to post here about my unidentified guests on my live rock. she thinks they maybe rhyzo. i really haven't a clue. pics and everything are over on my thread. it's not like 193 posts long so it's a quick read....so if you could lend me your expertise i would GREATLY appreciate it. i just need to find out what they are so i can FEED them.

No it isn't rhyzo, from what I have seen. The last picture gave it away because of the long fleshy stem it can have. Maybe someone else can help.

Rhizotrochus typus has a very large, heavy skeleton, and does not come from area where live rock is imported from. Your hitch hikers are anemones; just watch to make sure they dont spread too aggressively over the next few months.

from the research i've found...it's a phymanthus anemone.
