FS: Naoko's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrilabrus naokoae)

I think I need to find a new home for this guy. He's become very aggressive towards the other fish in my tank. I purchased him from Blue Zoo and put him in QT for 8 weeks where he was prophalactically treated with Chloroquine, Praziquantel and Focus. He has been with me for about 1.5 years, is very healthy, eats everything, and has been a great reef fish other than his aggressive attitude.

Yesterday I was able to catch him and he is now in my QT. I was planning to leave him in the QT for a while then re-introduce him but I'm worried he'll still be a problem and I might not catch him so easily again. He needs a good home with tank mates who he doesn't pose a threat to, such as large tangs or angels.

So I'm offering him for sale. The price is $200 firm. Local only. No shipping. I'm open to trade for a male C. rhomboidalis.

These are not commonly come by. There has been 1 sold on Diver's Den in the past several months. Here is some more information.

Here's a recent shot of the him about to take a bite of my little blue tang.

Thanks guys.

Dave - I don't have any experience shipping fish, so I would rather not. Since you asked, he's about 3.5 inches I'd say; I asked him to hold still so I could measure him... but he has an attitude problem BZ has one for sale for a little more dosh, but it doesn't come with a guarantee (mine doesn't either but he's been in captivity for over a year and give me no reason to suspect he's in less than excellent health)

p.s. how in the world did you find this thread??

LMAO. Hi Abe.

I'll give you a call later today. I won't be able to meet today, but if you're sure you want him we'll just consider him sold/pending to you.

You did read the part about him being aggressive, right? I'm not sure how he'll act when introduced to a tank with other wrasses.

Do you have him with other wrasse's in your tank now. If so what size and type do you have.

LMK if the sale falls through Jacob. Those are sweet and he would go nice with my mean Orange back and Pink margin.

Ohh... I need some coffee, long week it's been.

Hey Rob. If for any reason reefgeek doesn't take him I'll let you know of course, but I have a feeling that won't happen Either way it will be good to find him a new home as I have a trio of rhomboids coming in this weekend! (sorry Abe, I couldn't wait and pulled the trigger)
