Tank Cover (Mesh?)
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to cover my 40 breeder. I heard someone on here sells some sort of mesh? I need it asap to prevent the new wrasse from jumping! Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Go to Home Depot/Lowes and get the screen used for doors and such, takes 5 min to put together and costs about 10$ for everything.

The clear mesh is best, they sell it at bulk reef supply now.

I ended up buying window screen frame and deer netting from Menards. I didn't notice any light reduction and the holes are perfect, but I doubled it and made a criss cross pattern just to be sure. By the way, I now have over 90 feet of this stuff left. I'm not looking to sell it, feel free to come by and I'll cut some out for free or a frag of coral is appreciated
.

can also use eggcrate. if the tank has a rim and you have a dremel you can cut it so the cover sits inside on the lip of the rim

Nelsen the egg grate blocks too much light, I wouldn't use regular screen either unless it's for an FOWLR.
