Sfiligoi Bulbs

Has Sfiligoi changed their bulbs at all over the past 3-4 years?

I ask because a friend has given me a 400w Sfiligoi 14k bulb that he only used for a few days. THe bulb itself was purchased about 3 years ago. Just want to make sure what I'm using now isnt that different from the bulbs currently being sold.

I believe only the packaging has since changed.
