Marineland 300 DD # ?

Does anyone know how much a Maeineland 300 Deep Dimension tank weighs ( empty ) ?

Wow, that's a heavy tank. It's going to be nice though! I can't wait to come help you get it in the house and see it in person!

Thrashie < I think the tank by it's self is a lot less than that . May be 540 , but I'm not sure . Even if that is the case , that is still a lot of weight .

I just talked to Perfecto Aquariums , and they stated , the Marineland D D 300 weighs approximately 550 # . Incase any one is interested .

my 150 DD required 4 people to move it comfortably. The 300 is basically 2 of mine so I would have a minimum of 6 people to help you move that puppy.

That sounds about right.... told you that thing is a beast. The bottom of the tank is probably a good portion of the weight.

That won't be necessary . I have a way to get it up stairs . A forklift wouldn't be able to get in an area where it could put it on my porch , anyway . Just moving a tank up to a second level does put a little more whipped cream on the pie .

+10 I had to walk my 150 DD through a 37" doorway with 3 people and then walk it ~40ft farther and then plop it up on it's stand. Good times!
