if you dont like to lose money i would stay with the cheapest(maybe emerald crabs) if you wand a crab that is not a hermit.
i have owned many different ones. i have had some of the same hermits and emeralds for over a year now. i would think that the crab pictured would live a while if taken care of

you can look up shame faced crab care on google. There is a ton of literature.

Platypodiella spectabilis http://www.reeflex.net/tiere/2498_Pl...pectabilis.htm is a Xanthid crab and omnivore. It is said it feeds sometimes on anemones. There is nothing more known about this crab – although with the scientific name You can search at least. ![]()
