how to acclimate

I just received some frags (ORA, Tyree, Zoa) in the mail and wanted to know what everyone does to acclimate these types of corals.

I have left the sealed bags with the corals in my sump to get the temp acclimated.
What is the best way to acclimate multiple frags via drip?
How long should I drip before I place them in the display? From what I read I should place the frags in the lower part of the tank. I plan on placing the frags on a peice of eggcrate attached to a mag float and keep this about a 1/4 way up in the tank for a week before moving to desired spot. Does this sound right?
