I want to know why your sump is bigger than you display!? To answer the question, is the 2000 overkill; its not overkill.

I thought it make a good conversation piece lol
na but really i was planning a monster refugium and i always try to push things to the max, its part of my personality. unfortunately instead of a chaeto and mangrove forest in the back of my tank i decided to vodka dose. now i use the sump as a remote live rock tank. my tanks been skimmerless for a few months now and i believe the huge sump is the reason my fish are alive and the tank didn't crash. but i know its funny as hell. |

oh and thanks for the answer to my question reef surfing, my mind can rest easy now
i already traveled down that overkill road with the sro 5000 that im now looking to sell. the monster skimmer just couldn't keep a foam head. |
