Paging Dr. Holmes-Farley...
and others.
Can you help me understand this reefer's situation? The answer is on the tip of my tongue but I just can't put it together. It's one am and I can''t sleep. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1989242 I think it has something to do with the solubility of carbonate in low ph and the relative insolubility of carbonate in high alkalinity. But like I said, I can't quite put it all together. What's your take. I've read your articles on ph calicum and alkalinity and the causes of low ph. Thanks in advance.
