Hello,
A little off topic could you tell me which one would work well in a fluidized sand filter? I built one thats 8" x 24" and will hold about 8lbs+- of sand?

Thank You!

for a 40 Gallon Breeder, how many bags would I need to get the LS just a TAN above the rim of the tank? Not sure how many inches that would be depth wise.

Also, are the miniflakes really fine ??

Not sure if I should mix miniflakes with aragasnow or miniflakes only or miniflakes with reef flakes. I personally, dont like big looking substrate such as crushed coral look.

Can you do a quick measurement for me on the lip? I don't have a 40br here that I can measure.

The Miniflakes are pretty fine, but certainly not sugar size like the Aragasnow. We do sell samples for $8.99 that have all of the sizes in it for you to check out.

I believe from the inside I measured it at .5-.75 inches, I have to check again it was a bit dark in the room.

Doing a 1" bed in that 36" x 18" footprint would put you at 30lbs total (1 bag).

I'd like maybe 1.5 inch sand bed which should be about 45 lbs right? You guys dont carry anything smaller than 30 lbs ?
