Or buy a fish and didnt realize it has a parasite and you put it in a QT tank but a little too late because the parasite has spread.....then when you go back to them and say hey "i need to find a medicine to heal a fish" and they ask well what does it have or what does it look like? and you say, it looks like flukes and they say that sucks where did you get the fish.....UM FROM YOU....Oh well that sucks.....profanity removed

Their regular prices, especially livestock, are really high, which is probably why the one near Cleveland went out of business. However, their sale (I forget if it is biannual or annual) actually has some pretty good deals. When I lived in Akron, I'd try to make the trip to pick up various things; I've even bought a couple of tanks from them.

Like icu2 I'll go in if we're in the area, haven't bought anything there in years... I eyeball the Zero Edge every time I go there though!

Only one or two of the staff are actually friendly, but if you look at the fish that they have each one has some kind of problem.... For the price that they are selling animals for they had better be free of any and all problems... They are about as good as Jack's pet store....

I've never been there and wasn't aware of the staff and can't comment on them. I hope they get everything in order in regards to fish health from what Fire Urchin stated above.

I lived in Columbus when they opened. Livestock health was an issue with them then. If they haven't figured it out by now I doubt they will.

It saddens me to see the state of decay most of their fish are in, everything from crypto to fungus to just looking half-dead! I refuse to buy fish there and get all my livestock mail order. Actually, in comparison, Jack's stuff looks much better, which is saying something!
