corner overflow question, need your advice
I have a 180, standard size of 72 24 24. It has 1 corner overflow as seen in picture 1. The overflow has 1 inch hole drilled on the bottom of it. I was thinking of doing a durso style overflow however i am a bit paranoid about it getting jammed for some reason (although there should not be any reason for it).
So a few questions. Is 1 overflow enough? I know people are using 2 corner overflows and / or bean animal these days but this tank is somewhat old. Is there a way to make it a bit safer in case "some chit" happens and it gets stuck? as you could see, there wasnt much room on the bottom of the overflow to drill another hole. Any suggestions are appreciated! Last edited by playaslk; 04/16/2011 at 02:14 AM. |

even with 2 corner overflows of that small size isnt sufficient.
you would probably be better serves doing a glass-holes.com overflow box.
