Are ice probe chillers effiecent?

I am setting up a 24 gallon nano reef for charity at a Children"s Museum and I just realized that it's too warm and they don't have Ac. I'm on a super budget and I was considering buying this for them,....http://www.google.com/products/catal...8wIwAA,.....an Nova Tec Aquarium Chiller,...... IS THIS A GOOD BUY??? Will it perform as other chillers? Do they last long?
