6 leg star fish

I found a six leg starfish in my seahorse tank. I have seen them in tanks before, but I'm concerned that they are "nuisance" starfish. Anyone with more knowledge on these?

It was tiny. I think it is an asterina. The info I have found on the net says they are pretty bad boogers for the corals. They also recommended that I get a harlequin shrimp. I am afraid that there are not enough starfish in there to support their eating needs.

No tank supports enough starfish who could then support Harlequin shrimp. You breed stars or buy them one bigger star from time to time or give them away after "cleaning up" Your tank.

I have those in my tank and they don't bother anything. SOME species of asterina eat corals but most don't. I wouldn't get a Harlequin shrimp to take care of them. They have pretty specific diet needs.
