Hello Jesse,
I came across ELOS REA 30 and 50 in 2010 ELOS catalog. I have been interested in a planted tank lately. It appears ELOS REA 30 and 50 are top quality co2 diffusers. According to the catalog REA 50 is supplied with its own pump while REA 30 is not. I was wondering what kind of pump is supplied with REA 50? Also, how much are they? Thanks

Both can have the pump. The REA 30 and 50 are CO2 reactors so they use the water pump (eheim compact 1000 for the REA 50). You can also use the ATO 10 or 20 (small and large) which do not require pumps and are a more traditional CO2 diffuser. All are hand blown glass produced in Italy, it is just a question of the size of your aquarium and the look you are going for. All are very nice.
ATO10- $64.99 ATO20- $69.99 REA30 KIT with pump- $239.99 REA50 KIT with pump- $309.99 Some nice videos, thanks to our friend Filipe for these: of the ATO 10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsWQba2_0zw of the REA 50: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56nD-...eature=related Hope these help.

It is more clear now. Thank you for the detailed information.
I have not set up a freshwater tank yet. When I do I will use one of Elos co2 reactor, either 30 or 50. Thanks.
