need additional stream

roger

would like to replace my "two the other brand pumps" with a single stream.
i am looking at the 6205 or 6305. looking to see which one would work better
in 8' long tank as far as their ability to create a current/push to the other side of tank.

thanks

archie

6305, the 6205 has a reach of about 1ft less, a 6305 can reach about 6ft a 6205 is about 5ft. The 6105 has the longest reach of all, about 7ft but it is a narrower flow pattern, if the tank is 2ft wide or less the 6105 would also be a good choice.
