Well here we go... I finally have everything built except for the doors on the stand. Light is hung, tank is running well, and I am about to do my first water change tomorrow... my ammonia level is .5, a little high so hopefully the water change will help that.

Did you cycle your water? Do you think your 'big guy' will suffer in a tank that small. Tank is nice - why did you cover up the cool fish on the back with black paint? Or do you have a way to illuminate it after you are all set up? Build's are always interesting- thanks for putting yours online.

Wow the tank looks great! That vlamingi is waaaaaaaay too big, i know you are very into him but for his own sake I would l find him a bigger home, like at least a 300 gallon tank, preferably somewhere closer to 500.
Good Luck with the tank! |
