px1000 and apex

I plugged it in, but I don't seem to be able to "find" it

Turn on Probe Expansion. In the display menu, System->Misc setup.

What version of firmware is on that Apex?

In old firmware, the Probe Expansion option is directly under the System menu.

BTW, once you enable Probe Expansion, you need to reboot the Apex. After that you should be able to see the PX1000 probe ports in the probe setup page, and then enable them.

It will be off by default, turn it on.

hmmm....I don't see it. Under config right? How do I see what firmware I have?

I think you are looking in the web pages. It's not there.... look in the display head menu. System->Misc->Probe Exp
