SRO XP2000 Overflowing
Just installed this skimmer on Sunday and it was acting normal the whole day. I fed my fish and now all it will do when on is overflow into the collection cup. Gate valve is wide open and have the plug out of collection cup. Skimmer is sitting in 8" of water which if I read correctly should be fine but the output of the skimmer is underwater. Could this be putting too much back pressure on the skimmer? If output has to be above water then skimmer and sump will only be about 5" deep. Suggestions?

The XP2000 should sit in 5.75" of water. Also make sure that you leave the output at least 3/4 open for the first 3-4 weeks while the skimmer breaks in.
