Reef colors "D"

Hello, we are trying to dial in our reef colors.
We have tested a few times and now are supplementing A,B,C & D. I am having a little trouble with sup "D". We run a dosing pump for our Cal sup
(brs cal mix #1) and dose about 75 ml in a 24 hr period.
Can you suggest how much colors "D" to dose, daily or weekly?

Mike

Hey Mike,
Can you tell me how many ppm of Calcium do you add per day?
What are your daily doses for Reef Colors A, B and C?
Have a great week,
Aviad

The best I can figure is we are adding 6 ppm per day of cal in a 120 volume system.

As for A, b and C we are just trying to get to the desired levels, we test and dose twice a week and have not yet reached a desired level of A or C.

The easiest way to supplement Reef Colors D is by the Calcium uptake, it’s calibrated to be 10% of the added volume of Reef Foundation A.
In order to supplement 6 ppm of Calcium to a 120 gal tank you will need ~14ml of Reef foundation A, hence 1.5 ml of Reef Colors.
Reef Colors A, B, C can be added that way, but it’s more accurate to measure and supplement to get the “fine tuning” for optimal results.
Hope it helps.
All the best,
Aviad.
