That was excellent, and exactly the way it should be!!! I was reading it and was like, "what's so funny about this?" Then, I made it to the last paragraph... and still haven't stopped laughing. I imagine it was a good display of the hand-to-hand combat taught to our soldiers. From the injuries, it sounds like the Marines used a good mixture of all the martial arts. Especially BJJ, with all the broken limbs. I wish this was caught on video.

That being said, I'm glad to hear that the one Marine's okay. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for anyone that has served or is currently serving or great country

Thanks for posting the link Rogger. All of my uncles, cousins, my dad, and friends that serve or have served love hearing about that stuff and email each other those kinds of things all the time. You hooked me up with a great one to send them.

It's funny how a good laugh like that can completely change your mood or day, and this article certainly did that to me. Thanks Rogger.

This is funny, but not totally true. Someone inserted the last paragraph about the guys injuries.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/milit...bbedmarine.asp

But still funny stuff.

It funny that you brought this up, I usually check things out in that same website before I believe or pass it on, it didn't occur to me that it could also be altered in a newspaper picture, nice work!

Yea, someone had shown me that this was not totally true a while ago, only way I knew.

There should be a ReefCentral version of Snoops, to verify all the strange things you here on here about reef tanking...lol.

Since the original humor of the post is ruined by Debby Downer, here's a replacement story. I swear it's true. It's about the day I learned to mind my own business.

The other day I was walking past the mental hospital and I could hear all the patients in the yard yelling 13! 13! 13! I was curious about what was going on but I couldn't see because of the high privacy fence. Eventually I found a hole where I could see through but when I put my eye up to it to look, some idiot poked me with a stick! And then all the crazies started yelling 14! 14! 14!

I work in mental health, that's too funny. I'm passing this one along to my co-workers.

I love Debbie Downer!!! I saw an episode a while back, where she's doing her thing, and lets a tiny giggle out... that set a chain of events rolling that ended with the entire cast on the floor laughing, and they couldn't finish the skit. Wish I had a link to that video! I think it had Christina Aguilera, or Brittney spears, or Lindsay, or someone like that in the skit as a guest.
