ok that settles it....something is wrong with my red dragon....its so pale compared to that. I have it on the sandbed....maybe i need to move it up?

The center light run for 5hrs which the RD is under. The two side 400w run for 7hrs each. So the RD only get 5hr of direct light. The reason for a short photo-period is to save on energy. I honestly feel I could still cut down my photo-period some and get the same results that I have.
