9420 external
I have a old ER skimmer that I am using at the moment and I put one of my 9420's on it. Question I am using the plastic strainer as a prop so the pump sits perpendicular to the skimmer body but about 1'' of the pump is out of water is that OK or bad. Thanks in advance

I think that should be OK, when situated parallel to the skimmer about 2" can be out of the water. If it starts to make any strange noises I would submerge it further.
