cirrhilabrus nahackyi

well thank you to my wonderful not so local LFS that aided me in aquiring the elusive cirrhilabrus nahackyi, from the fiji islands. Apparently QM received some of these fish, and 2 pairs were available. According to my source these fish were actually collected by Tony Nahackyi himself! definatly an amazing chance to own an amazing fish, stay tuned as they wont arrive for another week.:-X now the waiting game begins. Hope all goes well

If Tony collected them himself, they should have come with a certification as such signed by Tony. There are two pairs coming into HK in two weeks time from Tony too. I got the cert... Lol. Celebrity fish.

BTW we're seeing more Bells, Fems, and even nursalims pairs here in HK, which hopefully means more for the US soon. Rumor has it that a few Mutant Wrasses are coming in too.

Yup, mine are in on the 16th. You should get the certification ... conversation piece at best, right? LOL.

I'm waiting on Nursalim, and apparently it's looking good per the supplier down in PNG - fingers crossed. I just added a male and two female femi's and I will post a video once they have gone thru the requisite "don't die on me" period of time. I did see the male chowing on pellets this morning so I'm pretty psyched.

May I move in with you? I am in love with your wrasses and I haven't even seen them yet! Someday I may be able to be as lucky as you though.

That's the best binomial nomenclature I've heard in this hobby yet, I chuckled trying to pronounce it.

i dont know to me the bells looks drap, just red with no markings....idk to each is own. id much rather have earls over a bells. but i guess having any of those would be amazing as well. on a side note i heard from my supplier that the second pair sold too. so i guess thats a wrap until they show up again!

Bells is a prettier fish when it's flashing for sure. Of the three, I'm still more drawn to Nursalim ...

Congrats on the C. nahackyi pair! As for the Bell's just being drab, we find ours to be quite colorful.
