Unhappy Zoa colony shriveling?

I have had a little zoa colony for about 8 months... it was 1 then it grew to about 8. I was so proud of it. Now there are 3 and they have been slowly shriveling up. i have two other little colonies as well but they are happy as a clam and are continuing to thrive. One of them actually fell behind a rock for a few days and is still thriving... this is my favorite colony because it has such vibrant colors. what could it be?
