Litermeter3 problems
I have a LM3, it stopped working some time back. The shaft moves but the rollers don't. Pulled it apart and the rollers are slightly notched in one spot. I think what may have happened is the rollers bound up for some reason and the shaft kept running and wore a groove in the rollers. I have not seen the rollers for sale on the spectrapure site though. I am guessing they are replaceable?

If you turn them over is the groove in the same spot ?, or reverse 1 or 2.
They should be a replacement part, the plastic ones were. |

once the rollers are grooved they must be replaced. If the rollers became grooved, it is also likely your tubing has issues that caused the shaft to stall and groove the rollers in the first place. thus it may be required that your tubing be replaced as well as rollers and tubing are matched pairs (not universal). Depending on what generation your pump is, we can supply you with the correct replacement set (even upgrade to longer wearing- more recent generation versions) if you call us with your litermeter serial number and purchase information. You can call our technical service line and you will be taken care of.
