Tank is pretty much done cycling, I'm just waiting for a call from the fish store now. Hopefully it will be this week.

I went to the store today and picked up some polyps and zoanthids. I changed my tank around and couldn't get it right. I ended up messing with it for 4 hours and the wife yelled at me lol. So how do I get these (green star polyps?) off of the frag that it's on and growing on the back glass? I have read about super glue gel and puddy. I was really excited and forgot what the names of these things were too. I was told not to put the start polyps next to the others because they would sting them.

I got all of my coral situated. Galaxea on the far left, some zoanthids in the middle and on back of glass, and a green star polyp on the right. There are some snails and blue leg hermits in there for clean up and snacking, along with one bold and feisty yellow tail damsel. There are 3 caves in the rocks and I split up the sides just incase the fish and mantis don't jive.
I have been waiting almost two weeks now for the fish store to find me one. I almost broke down and ordered one from Fl. but I don't want to risk it shipped if I can get it local. The waiting is driving me nuts. I have my Finnex 60 LED coming today along with some Purple Up for the corals. Tick tock tick tock...... It's my mantis and I want it now! |
